They are selling boxes that they don’t already own, and aren’t in a yard they control!

Most of the container links and ads you see on an internet search lead to brokers who are just flipping someone else’s inventory. It’s great if you want the cheapest box, but you get what you pay for. Ask one simple question: Can I see the ACTUAL box I will be getting. If they say no or give a lame excuse–beware!

We live, work, and operate in Jacksonville, FL, not out of an office building in Orlando, Miami, or LA. We usually sell equipment that we actually own, but have been forced lately to flip inventory like the brokers do. The difference with us is that we are an actual storage yard for the shipping lines. You can see the actual box you could buy. You can come to our yard and talk about your needs.

If all you want is the first box of a random stack from a random yard at the lowest possible price, Google “shipping containers” and take your pick. If you would like to deal with an actual retail establishment with a physical presence, call us…

Lastly, you need to know that a warranty on a used container is utter nonsense. I’ve seen 5 year, 10 year, even 25 year “structural warranty” advertised–they are only as valuable as the company standing behind them, and I challenge you to figure out who is standing behind those claims. We have been in intermodal support services for 50 years, and I won’t give you a warranty on a used box. Why? Because there is no way to know how fast a roof pinhole will rust through. I would rather have you come in and see the box you will receive and reject it before you pay and it ever leaves our yard. That is the real way to do business, and its something all those ads online can’t or won’t do.
